This past week The Heart Theatre hosted a number of one-on-one interviews, four focus groups and a public meeting at City Hall.
Facilitated by Herb Stratford of Historic Theatre Consultants, pictured at left (photo credit: Nick Taylor, Effingham Daily News), the meetings helped to determine the next steps in bringing The Heart back to life.
The top five areas that survey respondents and interviewees are interested in seeing at the historic venue are: live music acts, community theater/plays, comedy nights/open mike, movies, and event rentals.
